Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Salzburg Festival, the baroque old town, the tale of the Sound of Music and the city’s association with numerous famous names, have all levitated Salzburg to world fame. The city is, and has always been, a place for pining music lovers, romantics and connoisseurs; and over the years the place has never lost any of its charm.
Salzburg Congress accommodates its guests at the very heart of Salzburg, the city of Mozart. A gaze out of the full-view windows reveals Mirabell Palace and its world famous gardens, the peak of the Mönchsberg, the ‘Museum der Moderne’, and a view across the rooftops the old town, now a UNESCO world cultural heritage site for over ten years. It’s just a five-minute walk to the Salzach and another five to the Getreidegasse and the house of Mozart’s birth, the cathedral square and Residenz palace.
